SAORSA, Georgia

SAORSA is a Batumi based Civil Society Organization (CSO) founded on March 15, 2018 by local young women and men who are driven to change the lives of individuals. SAORSA has exclusive experience of designing and implementing employment and career development programmes in Georgia. It works closely with the local government, private sector, educational institutions, US Embassy, Ministry of Education, Culture, and Sports, and Embassy of Netherlands to create a healthy social and professional environment for Georgian youth and women to implement internship and mentorship programmes effectively. Additionally, the CSO assists private and public educational establishments, businesses, CSOs, and individuals with paid services. SAORSA‘s framework for creating high-quality career development systems is built around following pillars: a) prioritizing career planning, b) providing Professional career advising and career therapy, c) emphasizing applied and work-based learning. Further, the organization promotes strengthening women‘s leadership, entrepreneurial, and business skills in rural communities of Georgia. SAORSA Team is composed of qualified project management experts, labour and human rights defenders, youth workers, prof-orientation and career development programme specialists; gender specialist; public relations and communications specialist; research and advocacy experts.
