About the Event

TSU opened its Soft Skills (SS) Laboratory within the Erasmus+ CBHE DeSIRe Project, supporting the enhancement of soft skills, digital competence, and student-centered teaching across partner universities. The new laboratory serves as a modern, fully equipped learning space designed to strengthen communication, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills among students and faculty.

The lab is equipped with laptops, an interactive display, projector, audiovisual tools for hybrid learning, and modern furniture, all procured according to project guidelines. These resources enable the implementation and pilot-testing of training modules developed within the DeSIRe project.

The opening ceremony was attended by TSU faculty, administrative staff, and project stakeholders. The event included a presentation of DeSIRe objectives, an introduction to the lab’s functions, equipment demonstrations, and discussions on future training and student engagement activities.

Following its launch, the SS Lab has become integrated into TSU’s academic processes, hosting faculty trainings, student workshops, mentoring sessions, and pilot modules. It supports TSU’s strategic goals related to teaching excellence, employability, and innovative pedagogy.

The lab contributes directly to the DeSIRe project’s capacity-building goals by providing sustainable infrastructure, enhancing institutional impact, and serving as a model for partner universities. All documentation, procurement files, and photos have been uploaded to the designated project drive.

Dissemination activities were carried out via TSU’s communication channels in line with Erasmus+ CBHE visibility rules. All personal data was collected and processed in compliance with institutional policies and GDPR requirements.
