About the Event

The second National Awareness Day at GSU was held on 23–24 September 2025 and expanded the
project’s outreach to a national level. The event gathered 85 participants, including GSU staff and students, representatives of the Syunik Regional Department of Education, the Town Municipality, NGOs, schools, and colleges.

The agenda combined presentations on DeSIRe outcomes, a case study session on conflict resolution and reflective thinking, and training workshops on key 21st-century soft skills such as emotional and social intelligence, equality and inclusion, media and digital literacy, entrepreneurial skills, decision-making, and organizational culture.

On the second day, students led a flash mob and soft skills quiz in the GSU courtyard, ensuring broad public engagement. Panel discussions encouraged dialogue among academics, policymakers, and external stakeholders on integrating soft skills into higher education.

Overall, NAD2 effectively disseminated GSU’s achievements, project results nationally, and strengthened collaboration with diverse stakeholders, while also demonstrating the impact of creative, student-driven awareness activities.
