November - December, 2024
Armenia and Georgia
Following the Capacity Building Training at the University of Granada (UGR), held from October 21 to 25, 2024, Armenian and Georgian Partner HEIs (including VSU, ASPU, SAFAA, GSU, TSU, ISU, BSU, and SOU), along with the NGO Center, organized In-House Multiplication Trainings to enhance soft skills among faculty, students, teachers, and young people. Each institution conducted two training sessions: one for students and the other for academic and administrative staff. The sessions focused on three key modules—Module 1 (Media and Digital Literacy Skills), Module 2 (EDI: Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion), and Module 3 (Essential Entrepreneurial Skills: Initiative and Proactivity)—as well as MOOC 3 (Reflective Thinking and Evaluating Skills).
These sessions, built upon materials provided by UGR, aimed to enhance critical thinking, foster innovation, and promote inclusivity within both academic and professional environments. Faculty training was conducted at the department level, while students participated in university-wide sessions. The training approach combined theoretical learning with practical skill-building through interactive lectures, case studies, group activities, and reflection sessions, ensuring that participants gained meaningful, real-world knowledge.
To evaluate the effectiveness of the training, four online surveys were conducted between November and December 2024, measuring participant satisfaction and the achievement of training objectives. The results indicated high satisfaction levels, with participants highlighting the relevance and applicability of the content. Suggestions for improvement included incorporating more hands-on activities and real-world case studies to further enhance learning outcomes. The initiative successfully strengthened participants’ digital literacy, reflective thinking, entrepreneurial skills, and inclusive practices.
Moving forward, integrating more interactive and applied learning strategies will further enhance the impact of future training sessions.
Certificates of participation were awarded to all attendees of the in-house training sessions.
