IADT is Ireland’s specialised higher education institution for the creative cultural and technological sectors, located in Dún Laoghaire (10km from Dublin city centre). It is home to 2500 students (undergraduate and postgraduate) across its Faculty of Film, Art and Creative Technologies (including the National Film School of Ireland) and Faculty of Enterprise and Humanities, and specialises in areas including film & TV, animation, and design, supported by research and teaching across a range of cognate disciplines including business, psychology, technology, and the humanities. IADT is publicly funded and has taught and research degree awarding powers up to EFQ7. It employs around 400 full and part-time staff.
